On November 10, Peaks Med spoke with engineering students from the Alès School of Mines by videoconference. Céline, director of Peaks Med, talks about the meetings at the Forum des Mines d’Alès.

Céline, what is the objective of Peaks Med’s participation in this type of event?

Participate in Alès Mines Forum, for the second time consolidates our partnership, this type of event is essential in order tosupport students and present our activity. It is about being able to offer perspectives of internships, hiring in a very specific context for young people.

Why this choice of school?

The IMT Alès has strategic local influence and also offers an interesting international network. The proposed engineering cycle is very complete, notably with a course ofengineers entrepreneurs, three dedicated research centers and one technology business incubator.

How was the day? What did you get out of it?

A very different day from the previous one, appointments were fixed in advance via Teams, which, in a way, takes away the charm of the spontaneous meeting and discovery. It was very pleasant to interact with around thirty students from different courses, each with specific experiences and expectations. At this stage, I will be able to move forward in my process with a few students in order to determine with them and the entire team the proposals that we will be able to make to them.
