New green commitment

Green energy with Enercoop

Peaks goes green

We all know that fossil fuels (natural gas, coal, oil) are harmful to the environment. They use finite resources and emit greenhouse gases. The same is true for so-called fissile energies (nuclear fission and fusion). They use resources present on the planet in limited quantities (Uranium). They also emit radioactive waste intended to be buried for hundreds of years. But then what can we do to consume cleaner?
Some electricity suppliers offer alternatives but you should be careful and compare them. In fact, not everyone makes investments in line with their “green” energy promises. Greenpeace has also carried out an audit for this purpose which can be consulted here https://www.guide-electricite-verte.fr

Our Green commitment: Peaks becomes a shareholder of Enercoop

Increasingly sensitive to the environmental cause, Peaks decided to review its energy strategy and chose a new supplier: Enercoop. This French electricity supplier selects partner producers who only produce energy resources from entirely renewable sources: water for hydraulic energy, the sun's rays for solar energy and the force of the wind for wind energy . Infinite energies, non-fossil and very low polluting. Totally seduced by Enercoop's commitments, Peaks even decided to become a shareholder of Enercoop in order to help them develop more quickly and ensure that their future investments are made as best as possible, for the good of the planet and future generations.

And actually what is Green Peaks?

A group of interested, sensitive, concerned, passionate and involved Peaksians in issues of ecological responsibility who come together to share good practices, news and raise awareness among colleagues to get involved in the future of the planet.
