Could you simply explain your job as a web integrator?

The web integrator integrates the model proposed by the web designer. He continually monitors the consistency between the coded pages and the graphic models.

It ensures compatibility with all browsers. His role is also to support the team and advise on ergonomics, accessibility, technique and creation. Its goal is for the design of the site to be both efficient and functional. Its mission is to allow the responsive design of the site, made even more essential by the multi-device.

What is your toolbox?

My favorite languages are: HTML / CSS / JS. I also sometimes touch on the front dev language Angular JS and Vue JS.

What was your background?

I graduated from an IUT SRC (communication service and network), followed by a professional license in E-Commerce. I first developed an Intranet site before joining a communication agency where I gradually discovered the profession of integrator. The profession was beginning to emerge, we understood the impact of a successful integration on the visual rendering, the functionalities and the referencing of the site. This 3-year experience allowed me to touch everything, from E-commerce to corporate sites through event sites. After several other experiences, I join Peaks where I have been for 2 and a half years. I am currently working on a web performance strategy for an international and multilingual news site.

What do you like about being a web integrator?

The challenging side offered by the profession fascinates me, because it touches on everything with a constant evolution of languages, creation, fashions, good practices. No routine, you have to train and get old all the time. On the soft skills side, it also requires being reactive, attentive to customer needs, knowing how to adapt to different projects and being a teacher to make the team adhere to technical challenges.

Do you have other passions?

The music and the dance. I also give house dance lessons. I have fun creating sequences, universes that I share with my students.

What do you like about Peaks?

The meeting side with peers! There is a real social life between Peaksiens which means that I learn in my projects but also with my colleagues. Also, listening on the part of the managers and the freedom to choose the projects according to my desires which allows me to be fulfilled professionally.
