Bravo to the Blue Child

For this last article of the year, we would like to tell you about this incredible association that is “L’Enfant Bleu”.

I'll warn you right away, this isn't a very "end of year holiday" topic, but the fact remains that freeing speech today means taking action for tomorrow. And like tomorrow is the new year so what better way than to end it by talking about the people who help our society get better. This is the case of the psychologists, lawyers and jurists who make up the L’enfant Bleu team. They provide psychological and legal support to child victims of abuse as well as adults who suffered abuse during childhood.

Created in 1987 in Lyon, its president Jean Michel Abou is a father of three children who chose to commit to protecting and defending child victims of abuse in the Rhône.

In 2018, L'Enfant Bleu was able to welcome 30% more children compared to last year, thanks to the commitment of its members and donations from individuals and businesses. She also carried out 2 therapy sessions, opened 400 legal files, 137 listening and legal advice and referrals to the police services. Many links have also been created this year to help children: partnerships with clinics, liberal psychologists, collaboration with the juvenile brigade, awareness raising in schools and among professionals and future professionals in contact with minors. .
