Organized by professional sector, the OPCOs (Operators of Skills) replaced the OPCAs (Organismes Paritaires Collecteurs Agréés) in 2019 and their main missions are the financing of work-study contracts, the management of the actions of the skills development plan of the companies with less than 50 employees and a local service for VSEs and SMEs to improve information and access to professional training for their employees.

At the end of the training, the company or the training organization sends the OPCO the following supporting documents:
Then, depending on the case, payment for the training is made directly by the OPCO or by the employer, who will then be reimbursed by the OPCO.
