Operation of a PKI / Energy

operation of a PKI electrical network client DevOps PEAKS

What is a PKI?

A PKI, or Public Key Infrastructure, is a set of processes, protocols and standards that enable the secure management of cryptographic keys. A PKI is used to ensure the confidentiality, authenticity and integrity of data and communications on a network.

Project

Setting up an infrastructure for operating a PKI

The project aims to industrialize the maintenance of the machines necessary for the proper functioning of the project, to simplify exchanges between different service providers for the opening of communications between network areas and to maintain the client's information system in operational conditions.

  • WSL

Our added value

To successfully operate the PKI, we brought our DevOps expertise, proactive listening and R&D for Windows workstations with a fleet of Linux servers (use of WSL).

We notably supported our client on:

  • the organization to adopt in the jungle of solutions offered by Cloud providers (in this case Azure) and set up the as Code infrastructure for IS projects in order to limit the risk of errors.
  • the use of the company's CD (Azure DevOps pipelines) to give even more sustainability to the process: trace infrastructure modifications in the pipelines and avoid manual interventions (potential sources of loss of information, errors …).
